Inkjet printer image quality

Because inkjet inks are more absorbent than toners or solid inks, they require specially coated paper for optimum results. Many manufacturers offer "photographic" inkjet papers that work with the characteristics of the ink to reproduce photo-quality images.

For the highest quality output, inkjet paper should have excellent ink adherence, high scratch and kink resistance, bleed control for sharp edges and high densities for more vibrant colors. Without a properly treated surface, colors will cause banding or the inks can be rubbed off. Epson inkjet cartridges
